Numero Uno Style-spiration

You should all know by now that Solange Knowles is my number one style-crush.  For me she puts the S in style, due to her confidence and the playful way that she clashes prints, embraces all things colourful and flirts with different types of textures, not forgetting that she always has on a fierce pair of shoes. Of course the 'fro also has a starring role, but she works the box braids just as well.

Life is better in print.

So the sun decided to make an appearance (finally!) this weekend, and I like many were jumping for joy! I have been dying to whip off my opaque tights for weeks but It just hasn't been warm enough. Word is that this sunning spell is set to last all week,YAY! and I plan to flirt with the sun as much as possible as let face it, we do not know how long it will last.

I was super excited that the sun was out in full effect today that I could not decide what the hell  to wear! As time waits  for no fashionista and being a chick who loves to rock a print, I decided to wear a gorgeous printed, dipped hem maxi dress.

For me nothing screams summer is here more than a maxi. I am mad about the print on this dress! I just love how vibrant it is. Plus this dress does not need ironing, I HATE ironing! I decided to 'toughen' up my look with pair of clog, platform boots.

I chose to block out the rays with my latest pair of sunnies from my on-line shop: HOS. I also will have a pair available in white and animal print in a few weeks.

So Graduate fashion week began on Sunday, I was lucky enough to be invited by one of my old assistants, Jasmine as she was showing her collection at GFW. Sadly I could not make it due to work commitments= seriously GUTTED!!!

I always look forward to GFW as I love discovering new talent and as always this year did NOT disappoint. I've had a look on line at of some the new emerging designers from all Uni's that have showcased their collections..... lots of fab stuff BUT I want to send a BIG shout out to ,JASMINE KACHARINA MAY.  

Jasmine is not only the sweetest girl but she is SOOOOOOOO talented!!!  Her work is just fab, fab , fab!!

I love the vibrant prints (I need those leggings and the maxi in my life) and I also love all the layered laser cut outwork.

Not to sound biased by I defo think Jasmine is one to watch and I for one am looking forward to what the future will bring for her.
