I need a pick me up
Can you feel that chill in the air? Autumn is definitely here, grr!! and I for one am not happy about it. I mean to be fair I do love A/W fashion as I can rock all my faux fur jackets, coats etc but it's just the dark nights and the drop in temperature that is tough but hey ho, no point in complaining lol!
I am in need of a pick me today, pay day is still far away, I cant seem to completely shake off this cold so I am walking around with tissues (how glam!) SO after work today I am taking myself (and my pack of tissues) to Topshop to buy some rings.
Now those that know me will know that I LOVE me some rings!! the wackier the better, the larger the better. I like to wear 4 or 5 at a time. For me leaving the house with out wearing rings is like being naked and I really do feel that rings can add a edge or that fun factor to any outfit. I own so many rings BUT I haven't bought a new one in a while. I have had a peak on the toppers website and I know exactly what I am after. Below are some (and I mean some) of the rings that I have my eyes on.
You might notice that a few of the selected rings below have a theme in common.... crosses. Yes, i'm a tad obsessed with crosses at the moment.
I will let you know which rings I ended up buying later.

On the mend and back in action
Firstly sorry for the lack of blogging, last week I caught a silly cold, grrrrr and I spent pretty much of last week going to work all drugged up on Day and Night nurse and then straight home and straight to bed. Friday I was feeling 80% better and then 'Bam' the next day I was poisoned by (god knows what I ate) so I was vomiting non stop. BUT I feel better today, I am on the mend and I am back in action. I have lots to blog about this week so keep both your eyes peeled.
I hope you have been enjoying LFW! Some of my fave shows so far have to be Matthew Williamson, Peter Pilotto, Mary Katrantzou and Topshop Unique. Oh and Ive just finished watching the Burberry show LIVE. Ha- no I didn't get a ticket (but hoping one day I will ), Grazia live and Burberry.com were streaming the show live on the Grazia website. It was such a fab show. Think: Cropped Trenches, cocoon jackets and short shorts (right up my street) and I just loved the finale; a spectrum of metallic trench coats.... BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
What have been your favourite shows so far?

Victoria Beckham at her best
I just love fashion week! Its like Christmas in the fashion world due to the excitement and anxiety of all the gorgeousness that we can expect to see. So far one of the shows that I am just loving is Victoria Beckham. This season I feel she has just nailed it, I love the simple but slick cuts and sharp 'new' tailoring.
What a divine collection!

Vogue Fashion's night out
Tomorrow is Vogue fashion's night out with various stores all around the UK holding exciting events in store and offering various discounts. As there is soooooooo much choice and I am not sure where to start lol! I would love to go to all the events but as this is not at all possible I have limited my choice down to Topshop, as I really want to see Delilah perform live in the Topshop window ( yes really). Miss Selfridge: as they are holding are ‘Love to Customise sequins, studs ’ shopping night and boy do I love to customise. I also do love a bit of sparkle and studs so this is definitely right up my street. I do also want to make a dash to Aqua as their current collection is beautiful, especially the ‘City of Gold’ range. They are offering 30% off tomorrow which is ummm amaze.
Where will you be heading? x

Amen to that
"One of the lessons that I grew up with was to always stay true to yourself and never let what somebody else says distract you from your goals. And so when I hear about negative and false attacks, I really don't invest any energy in them, because I know who I am." - Michelle Obama"
I have just
come across this quote from the amazing woman; Michelle Obama. I totally agree with
this quote as I will admit that this is something that I have struggled with,
not so much now though but more as I was growing up. Of course, there
are some days when I find myself reverting back to my old
ways but I can honestly say that overall especially over the past 12 months I do not
waste much of my time focusing on any negative energy, comments etc
as not only does it give me spots Lol but also because I do believe that positivity
always wins! I truly like who I am as person (not in
an arrogant way) though. What I mean is that
I accept that I may not be everyone's cup of tea
and some people might find my style and personality too 'quirky' but for every person that doesn't ‘get
me’ there are many others that do. See how I see it as some people prefer Jimmy Choos, others may prefer Louboutins and thats all good. One thing I can
say is that whatever I do I always like to keep it real by staying true to myself and to me that is just
fab-u-lous!!!!
Finally to quote DVF “The most important relationship
in your life is the relationship you have with yourself. Because no matter what
happens, you will always be with yourself.” ― Diane
Von Furstenberg

A girl can dream
As we wave goodbye to summer (not that we had much of a summer this year, grrrr) and welcome Autumn I am thinking about all the pieces that I must have in my Autumn wardrobe. Top of the list: leather trousers. I have just seen these red leather bad boy skinny trousers on Net-a-Porter. With a hefty price tag of..... £3,325 I will have to search for a cheaper but just as 'WOW' alternative. In the mean time I will continue to dribble.
